Report expressly prepared for Jill Nedlund based on her birth chart

Written in Oslo, Norway on July 4, 2003

Jill was born at 8:58 in the morning on February 2, 1987 in Oslo, Norway

An astrological chart is a blueprint indicating the potentials a newborn is endowed with to grow in consciousness. Just as the DNA holds the key to our physical development, the subtle energies the universe gives to each one of us at birth is the key to our spiritual development. The way the solar system is patterned at a specific time of birth (as seen by the human eye from the vantage point of the Earth) illustrates the patterns of energy the newborn has to work with. Planets and stars are symbols, symbols of energetic tools a newborn has to use. They are letters of the alphabet of the astrological language rather than direct causes of human behavior. One’s character is the product of one’s choices; it is the wisdom in the soul that gives the energies represented in the birth chart the power to fulfill their promise in a positive, life-affirming way.

Jill’s Chart

The Sun and Mercury in Pisces in the Second House

Jill is blessed with a vast and infinitely deep consciousness that reaches out as far as the human mind can go to embrace and relate to everything she contacts. There is almost nothing Jill fails to identify with and as a result may have difficulties at times establishing a clear sense of her own, distinctive identity. Extra-dimensional powers are at her command thanks to her extraordinary sensitivity, enabling her to go beyond her current physical circumstances into the world of possibilities. Jill is a visionary, one who longs for things beyond what the three-dimensional world currently makes possible. She has a natural understanding that there is more to life than what human beings can perceive through the physical senses.

Jill’s overview of a situation is comprehensive for she is able to see a matter in its entirety. Her great gift is her ability to harmonize with whatever energy predominates in the moment. Her aim is to make a contribution that would make society feel grateful she was here on earth, offering a service that alleviates suffering and brings more love into the world. At times Jill feels somewhat alien to the world that she lives in, yet she wants so much to be helpful within it. The truth is that she can for the world is starving for her gentle touch and for the amazing healing potentials she possesses.

Although her outlook on life has kept her focused on fulfilling her goals and attaining successful results, her inner being is linked to the realms of the Spirit, a lighter, freer world of instant manifestation. On the material plane, Jill is a fish out of water, seeking a way to move closer to the source through service to the universe.

The South Node in Aquarius in House Two,

The North Node in Leo in House Eight

The South Node in the birth chart is a symbol of the carry-over of soul memories and abilities that one brings into life. The North Node is what is most needed to balance those abilities and make them useful and relevant in the present. The placement of these two polar directions in the chart indicate what the soul has to offer the world (south node) and what the world can offer in return (north node).

The Nodes in Aquarius and Leo

Jill came into this world with an inner knowing of eternal truths, only to find she lives on a plane where truth is determined by current physical conditions. She wanted to inhabit a world that adhered to a permanent set of principles rather than one that traded in ideals and standards for whatever was currently convenient. The relativity of life on the earth plane has caused some confusion for Jill and the lack of certainty about some of the basic issues of life has motivated her to search for answers that are broad enough in scope to endure beyond the popular fads currently in vogue. She has rebelled against accepting the easy answers others supply on the spur of the moment. Her understanding stretches far beyond the box that passes for reality and she is here to help create a new paradigm, one that allows for potentials far more encompassing than what most people settle for.

Eventually, the people she becomes involved with both personally and professionally will serve as catalyst for Jill. They are in her life as a reminder that her path is the road less traveled and that confidence in her individual power is necessary if she is to be an agent of transformation in her field of endeavor. Jill’s challenge is to rise above the conformist beliefs that keep the collective mind-set in its narrow box. While her point-of-view is concerned with preserving a credible reputation, Jill aims to rise above peer pressure and show clear evidence that human consciousness is capable of going places society is currently afraid to go. Acting cautiously, yet courageously, Jill’s task is to straddle the poles of current thinking and establish a happy medium that expands the limits of consciousness while maintaining a secure base to stand on.

The Moon in Gemini in the Fourth House

In her childhood, Jill was impressionable and responded to every change in her environment, questioning the assumptions made by the people around her. She might have felt that she dwelled in a maze of inconsistencies for seldom was she satisfied with the conflicting answers she received to her questions. She grew up wondering which of the many answers the correct one is. This was the beginning of a lifelong search for information. While Jill is skilled in gathering facts; it has been more challenging for her to integrate this knowledge and develop a world view where all the facts mesh together. Her strength is her ability to reflect on the many aspects of an issue. Her mission is to string all the ideas that come to her into one unified conception of reality.

The Pisces Sun (the essence and purpose of the individual) has a nature analogous to the chameleon, exhibiting a spectrum of shades and tones as it blends in with the colors of its surroundings. The Gemini Moon (the response mechanism) adapts to changes in the environment and internalizes its experience in a variety of ways. Both energies are mutable and fluid. As Pisces is a water sign and holds domain over the realm of emotion and Gemini is an air sign and one of pure, logical thinking, Jill has a great need to rationalize her feelings and make sense of them, something that is often very hard to do.

Capricorn Ascending (Rising) and Cancer Descending Capricorn ascending and Cancer descending indicate the individual point of view: in the first case when alone and in the second case when in the presence of another. These energies add a serious note to the chart. The earnestness in Jill’s outlook and approach to life supports her in overcoming hardship and in facing reality with a determination to succeed in her objectives. This is where Jill can draw upon reserves of discipline to fulfill her ambitions, playing by the rules until she becomes the one making the rules. As long as there is a place in her life to experience her softer side and to receive tender, loving care, Jill is willing and able to take on important responsibilities. Indeed, the vulnerable part of her nature is held in reserve when Jill is committed to a goal and surfaces when a relationship comes along to make her aware of it.

Venus in Aries in the Second House

This placement, although it may make enduring relationships challenging, is a blessing for Jill to have. Her compassionate nature might be too accepting and accommodating otherwise and she might tend to allow others to take advantage of her. Venus in Aries, however, is one thing Jill has for herself alone and it promises that she is fully capable of looking after her own best interests.

At her best at the beginning of a relationship, Jill makes herself complementary to a chosen partner immediately. If she is interested in someone, in some way she makes this clear. Her pitfall is that she may act hastily and then regret her impulsiveness later on down the road. Jill wants to experience her heart rush with excitement. When the excitement dies down, so might her ardor. She is a master at bringing the issues of a relationship out in the open as she tends to stir up energies between herself and the other person. Although she is an essentially loving person, she has an element in her nature that motivates her to create confrontations when her needs are not being met by her partner. When the magic in a relationship dies, love begins to pale and Jill may start seeking to land in greener pastures where new excitement awaits.

Jill needs to build up a sense of self-esteem, not just because of what she knows but because of who she is. She wants to receive validation from a partner and to feel she is valued and if this is not forthcoming from the person she is with, she considers looking for it elsewhere. One day, she will be able to give this to herself, only to discover that the more she does, the more her self-esteem is reflected back to her by others.

Mars, Jupiter and Saturn in Virgo in the Eighth House

Jill’s chart contains the see-saw pattern; her Pisces planetary energies in the second house (the house of personal values) oppose the Virgo planets in the eighth house (the arena of other people’s values). The second house’s meaning is fairly straightforward; the meaning of the eighth house is far more complex. Planets in the eighth house motivate Jill to look beneath the surface and see what others are concealing. Although her Gemini Moon may want to set limits on how deeply she feels comfortable in going into life’s depths, her intellectual curiosity in exploring the hidden recesses of the psyche demands that she develop a way to better understand human motivation. Thus, academic development and the disciplined constraint this imposes upon her infinite need to know is a viable means of probing the nature of consciousness. Although her educational training may be less inclusive than she would like, it allows her to become finite in her thinking and detailed in her approach. Jill may find that an analytical approach to a subject is a bit confining yet it serves the purpose of supplying her with a precise way of perceiving the world and one where there are fewer margins for error and for unwarranted speculation.

As imaginative and creative as she is, Jill has needed to create boundaries around her wondering mind. Capable of seeing the validity of just about every viewpoint, she needs more solidity of thought to achieve the focus that is necessary for mental mastery of her subject. The Virgo planets form a stressful right angle aspect to her Gemini Moon. No one can cover all the ground Gemini would like to with the precision and standards of perfection Virgo demands. Jill requires going one step at a time and setting limits on her tendency to want to keep moving forward and learn more. If she does not choose her priorities carefully, Jill will have an overflow of energy and information to contend with and not be able to finish much of what she starts.

Virgo -Once she achieves a greater degree of concentration in her mental approach, Jill can then once again expand and ‘push the envelope’. First, however, she needs to contain the infinite possibilities that flow through her and bring them under her control. In this way, she can offer descriptions and explanations that are sufficiently extensive to accommodate an ever-expanding situation yet pinpointed enough so that definite conclusions can be drawn. Jill’s strength is that she would recognize these conclusions as the truth in the moment rather than the truth for all time. Her willingness to innovate new ideas and methods can keep bringing up previously undeveloped latent potentials. To excel in this way, Jill needs to refine her ability to make distinctions as to which information is relevant and which is not.

Future Forecast

There is a strong tendency for Jill to push herself perhaps to a greater degree than is wise. On the other hand, the balance of 2003 provides a positive flow of energy for her throughout most of the period. Even the rough spots can yield positive results as the next six months promise growth and opportunities for Jill to sharpen her skills and develop a higher degree of competence. Jill needs to learn how far she can push herself so that she can meet the challenges that arise successfully. It can be an exciting time for her and this will continue into next year as issues centered around competence are healed with any steps she takes in that direction. In a sense, Jill is squeezing a reservoir of energy and data through an eye dropper and developing her analytical abilities as never before. Her task on the road ahead is to synthesize millions of images, impressions and bits of information and distill them into an integrated body of knowledge.
