Marsha in 2006

March and April, 2006

Saturn is moving in retrograde motion in Marsha’s chart through the last quadrant, the arena of collective participation. Saturn’s energy is formidable--whatever  Marsha has set into motion needs to be completed one way or another and the slate must be wiped clean in preparation for late 2007 and all of 2008 and 2009. Just one and one-half years away, as Saturn enters Marsha’s rising sign, Virgo, her life will look vastly different and match up with some of the descriptions mentioned in the first report written for her last August.

Starting now and lasting until the autumn of 2007, Marsha will be searching for her right livlihood. Chiron placed in the house of labor (the sixth house) in the natal chart suggests, however, that Marsha is apprehensive about forming alliances that could empower her marketability and give her access to opportunities that are not available when she does a solo. Alliances with others would only be tentative, as Marsha will be freer and much more independent as the end of next year approaches.

Needless to say, relationships are challenging for Marsha with her Aries Moon, (the impatient listener.) Her seventh house Aries Moon communicates how Marsha receives energy and information from others and it seems she is often displeased with what she receives. She wants people to support her intentions and too often she does not feel that support. More often, she senses friction brewing and she wants to head for more positive territory where she can feel optimistic (her natural state.)

It would be wise for Marsha to consider that whatever comes into her space from the outside is a godsend (literally), regardless of how unpleasant it may seem at the time.Marsha’s more difficult issues currently are, at least in part, due to her resistance to taking in information that does not serve her personal aims. This statement in no way implies that Marsha should adhere to the advice of others. What is being said is that whatever comes into her life is best met with serious consideration rather than deflected and dismissed. Marsha is here to interpret the meaning--and not just the content--of her every experience and because it is her interpretation, ultimately the meaning matters more than the content. The content is there so that the meaning can be comprehended.

Mars, the planet that motivates us to take the initiative and gain results is climbing to the top of Marsha’s chart this month and next and so it is definitely a time to step on the gas and explore all the possibilities in the world. During the first week of April, Mars opposes its higher octave, the planet Pluto. Since Marsha’s Sun sign is in a challenging right angle relationship to Pluto in the natal chart, a difficult aspect such as transiting Mars opposing transiting Pluto in the chart, demands action and change. The change is likely to involve teaming up with others to get something accomplished. It will not happen, of course, if Marsha has any resistance to the idea.

Uranus, the radical planetary energy of rebellion and sudden change, moving through Marsha’s house of partnerships suggests that a primary relationship is either transforming into something else or ending completely. This could take years, as Uranus moves in the sky around the Sun very slowly. The desire to break away from an inhibiting and claustrophobic relationship, however, will be felt for as long as it takes Marsha to do something about it. Her natal Venus and Saturn conjunction in the enduring sign of Capricorn motivates her to stay with a relationship that has long ago failed her. Sticking with her partner builds character and demonstrates personal integrity. Marsha has proven all of that; now, she would be wise to see herself in a new context that moves her in the direction of autonomy. It is a time for friendships and transpersonal associations that can support Marsha in her aspirations to rise above her current story and expand upon her current circumstances. If any part of her life is a dead end street, it is best to unplug that part and put the energy somewhere else.

Marsha finds herself attempting to salvage something that is no longer blooming. There is a point where integrity and loyalty come to a halt and life begins elsewhere. Change is inevitable--Marsha merely needs to make up her mind whether she wants the change to be swift so that new space can open immediately, or if for some reason she wants an unhappy condition to drag on until the inevitability of its demise becomes so apparent, it can no longer be denied.

The best news of this time period is that Jupiter, the ruling planet of Sagittarius and the most expansive and most fortunate energy in the sky, is just about to go retrograde and by mid-April it will be transiting over the Marsha’s Mercury, the planet of the mind. This will open up Marsha’s vistas and ideas are likely to flow through her that she could not previously access. The frequency of her thinking--and since Mercury is in Scorpio, the depth of her thinking as well-- will be greatly intensified. Thus, decisions made at this time have a great chance of being wise ones, due to Marsha’s enhanced perception.

May and June

The North Node, symbolizing the future direction of the chart, transits over Marsha’s Moon in Aries. If friendships and purposeful associations are cemented at this time, a one-on-one relationship will be either a back burner issue or an entity facing dissolution.

Jupiter is moving in retrograde motion and in June has a rendevous with Marsha’s Neptune (the planet of dissolution.) At the same time, it forms a harmonious triangular aspect to Marsha’s natal Mars in the house of friends, associates and all the people that come into her life to support and be supported. Someone else can come into Marsha’s life during this period as Venus in Taurus transits through Marsha’s relationship quadrant and in early June trines her Jupiter in the fourth house. This will not necessarily be a romantic possibility--it could indicate a fortunate connection with an individual of either gender-- someone who could prove to be very helpful in getting Marsha through an emotionally trying time. Thus, it is possible that it will be a woman--someone who shows up, listens and understands.

July and August

Jupiter is still directly on Neptune, thus the summer months are a time to pursue projects and pastimes that inspire and uplift. Problems on both physical and spiritual levels may prevail, yet they cannot be resolved through conventional means. Doctors would hold up their hands and remain baffled while energy healers, herbologists and accupuncturists might deliver the appropriate remedy. If there is a problem, it is better to open up to new ways of dealing with it. In the process of discovering what would work best, an increased awareness can emerge for Marsha  that recognizes more than ever how spiritual despair can generate  physical disease. The body is but the outer terminal for unresolved issues the soul has been grappling with and has not completed. It is not necessary for Marsha to keep coming up with physical difficulties that challenge her. If she does though, the adversities can be seen as a further wake-up call. This is especially true if changes were not made a couple of months ago.

The other side of Jupiter  transiting Neptune in the third house is that some endeavor can be pursued that involves communicating about spiritual subjects. Since we teach what we need to learn, Marsha might benefit from addressing her challenges by investigating and writing about them. If the research is funded because it is part of a job she is given, so much the better. Marsha’s natal third house Sun sign suggests that writing and teaching are strong potentials for her. Further, it is suggested in the chart, particularly during this time period, that Marsha gain a broader perspective and fill her mind with a bigger picture. Her soul carries forth an ordinary view, one that is not assisting her. Jupiter on Neptune is communicating that when Marsha is trying to be practical and get on the same page that most people are on, she winds up swimming in a sea of mediocrity. The goal then is to create a vehicle for herself that others can recognize and value that has some distinction. It may take time for Marsha to accomplish this on the physical plane, however, the mental creation begins now.

Mars joins Saturn in Leo in Marsha’s twelfth house starting in late June and then in August crosses her ascendant. What starts out as a creative burst of imagination can be gradually broken down into smaller ideas that offer explanations of concepts that until now were ambiguous. Marsha can apply her gifts and tell her truth in terms that cast a new light  on events. Whatever else she may be doing at the time, writing (an article, an editorial, a short story, or even a book) would be a wonderful way for her to express her talents and it could prove to be therapeutic as well.

September

The Sun and Venus are transiting Marsha’s first house and all is right with the world. Well, almost. Financial matters must be attended to this month with Mercury (the mind) and Mars(the desire to get things done) moving through the money house in Libra. If there is to be any peace of mind, the books call for a balancing act. Hold back on spending and wipe out any debts that have incurred, as much as possible.

If Marsha feels somewhat at a loss as to how to do this, she merely needs to give room for new ideas and new plans. Jupiter goes direct over her natal Mercury in the communication house, which should provide her with ways of smoothing her ride that she may never have thought of before. If answers are needed to resolve an apparent predicament, this is the time to receive thoseanswers. This is a problem solving month, as well as a month to trim any excess. Anything that is over the top needs to be cut down in size.

Transiting Jupiter in Scorpio in the communication house is harmoniously aspecting transiting Uranus in the relationship house. Talk to the experts, get free advice and work your way out of any difficulties is the best advice for Marsha at this time. The less she has to contend with at this time, the happier she will be.

October and November

Early October is a time to tie up loose ends and complete what has been started. Commitment is what counts now. If Marsha shows that she  is real in her commitment, the energy to recreate circumstances that do not measure up to her satisfaction will become abundantly available.

Late October is a potentially productive time as the Sun, Venus and Mars join Jupiter in Marsha’s third house (information, education, communication.) If Marsha begins comparing aspects of her life with those around her and feels she could do better for herself, now is the time to go fully into action to make necessary changes. The months prior to this can be a period of preparation for the major overhaul that can take place during this time frame. Saturn in transit, however, is approching Marsha’s natal placement of Uranus, the planet of invention and sudden (sometimes radical) change and this occurs in the twelfth house. This house represents all that is mysterious in life because it is intangible. There is divine energy here and Uranus amplifies the ability to receive it while Saturn delays and constricts its potential and generates pressure so that the potential can be crystallized. Think of carbon compressed over time until it transmutes into a precious gem. This is the process that Marsha is undergoing during this period.

It is not necessarily a time for Marsha to be assertive. It is more a time for her to let go, as much as it feels all right to do so, and to open up to the energy and information that the universe can transmit through her.

December  2006-January 2007

This could well be a most meaningful time for Marsha. She may be working in a job that is quite mundane and seemingly living a normal lifeon the surface. Many of the transiting planets, however, are moving through the deepest and most personal part of her chart, the nadir, and there is much activity occurring beneath the surface that is anything but conventional. The results of this time of self-exploration, through conscious and sub-conscious means, is the rebirth of Marsha. It is not realistic to think that this report can offer Marsha a complete picture of what will physically manifest in her life in the year to come, as her consciousness is the progenitor of her reality. Marsha’s environment will reflect her thoughts and deeds and produce manifestations that are the outgrowth of her most consistent intentions. The more Marsha sustains an effort, the denser that effort will become.

This is a time of deep, inner work--work that requires patience, consistency of effort and an unwavering determination to succeed. More than anything, it requires the energy of love. Marsha’s fifth house, the house of giving love to others in some way, is being highlighted. This is the house placement of natal Venus and Saturn in Marsha’s chart. The love was always there; it simply needed timeto flower and express itself in a way that would open the door to a whole new world for Marsha--a world of her own creation.
