The mythological legend of the twin brothers Castor and Pollax clearly conveys the true essence of Gemini consciousness. Castor was entrenched in the earth, wheeling and dealing in the marketplace while Pollax, his heavenly brother, was soaring in the sky.
Gemini's mission is to bridge the gap between the abstract mind of our high self and the concrete mind of our three-dimensional one.
In the world of duality we all inhabit here on earth, our ego-mind is the trickster, perceiving reality as if it were disconnected from the rest of life. This is a great misinterpretation of the truth, yet the illusion of separation is so compelling that almost every person on earth has been hoodwinked into believing in this false impression. The true reality is hidden and hard to get hold of while the deception seems solid. When we cannot grasp information, then we are not able to use it and it becomes difficult to sustain a belief that it is real.
The previous sign, Taurus, has already created the concept of value. Now Gemini, the progenitor of the ego-mind, creates the value judgment in which the ego views some occurrences to be good or right while others are bad or wrong. Gemini represents the split that takes place when the ego-mind replaces the divine essence as the voice of authoritative reason in determining truth.
Gemini, in and of itself, is perhaps the least emotional sign in the zodiac. This sign deals with the everyday, as if it were doing a crossword puzzle. It wants to come up with all the answers and move on as soon as it thinks it has them. Knowing, or believing it knows, is enough to satisfy Gemini, at least for a while, although it is always ready and willing to rethink and repackage ideas. In fact, that is what Gemini loves to do.
Gemini at its best demonstrates what a brilliant instrument the mind can be if one remains approachable, flexible and willing to be exposed to the latest developments. It is the mind's ability to crystallize information in manifold ways that ultimately adds up to intelligence. June Forecast
Aries-The grand trine in fire continues to give you extra impetus. Not that you really need it though. You ought to be moving at breakneck speed and you are convinced that no one can catch up with you. All to the good because you want to make sure that nothing obstructs your plans or blocks your intent, especially at mid month when Mercury goes retrograde in the part of your solar chart that deals with your inmost self. The light inside grows more intense by the day and others are just not able to relate to what you are experiencing. Unless they happen to be Aries people as well.
Taurus-Finances are certainly on your mind, but then when are they not? Save money by spending a lot of time in your nest with home cooking and perhaps home loving. If there was ever an opportunity for domestic bliss, this is the time. In the process of nesting, new insights and breakthroughs in understanding may prove to be enlightening. If only you had realized these things before—except for the fact that you had to go through hell before you could enter heaven. Just as the Wizard of Oz reminded us, happiness is no further than your own backyard.
Gemini-This is your month and you can have it be roses all the way. When people listen to what you have to say, they cannot help but agree with you, especially since you are so flexible. Cancer-You feel ambitious, although some would say that is not
a sterling quality anymore. Still, you are not going to let the judgment of others stop you from sharing the inside information you continue gaining access to. It comes from a higher plane and it has life altering implications. That is a big project for you to take on, but it is nothing that you cannot handle now. You have often underrated your abilities. All it takes is confidence-you already have the experience. Do you not see that what you have to give is just what people need? While they may expect it for nothing, make sure they compensate you. Your tenacious sustaining power is life affirming and life giving and that is worth more than anything. This is the time to value your gifts as never before.
Leo-The planets are spread out all over the sky this month and your tendency is to want a full spectrum experience. Life is slightly on the upswing (if Saturn's lessons have been learned), however, it could be a misguided move on your part if you attempt to take it all in at once. Virgo-You are feeling particularly powerful this month, yet the world may not quite match your relish for life. The feedback you are getting can sound discouraging and you may want to move into a different circle. Sagittarius-Why is it that some people have all the luck. It is because they are Sagittarians. You have moved into your softer side and made an effort to compromise, yet you and your partners are running on different tracks. Pisces- You may need to raise some extra cash, either as an investment to reinforce a precarious business project or simply to fortify your personal budget. The answer is that if you cannot access the flow of currency readily; pump up the volume on your output. Sometimes we have to exert ourselves beyond the call of duty just to meet our basic requirements and this could be one of those times for you. Do not despair, your situation will keep changing and you never know where things land the next time around. Face it; you really do not want your life to be too foreseeable anyway.
