If you play the board game of Monopoly, you begin at Go. Aries inhabits the space of Go on the game board of life. At its very best, Aries represents the resiliency of an unconquerable spirit, an irresistible force of nature that allows neither interference nor intervention. Aries is gifted with a consciousness that is utterly centered in its own light, so it is less subject to influence than any other sign. When an Aries individual hears something it disagrees with, it asserts its truth forcefully. Aries individuals seldom take anything lying down. They stand up for what they believe in and for their rightful place in the scheme of things.
Sun in Aries people will always be free inside no matter what they undergo on the outside. They know they are among God's beloved creatures and they insist on being treated accordingly.
In the sequential development of the Zodiac, Aries marks the beginning of a new cycle. Metaphysically, this sign symbolizes the separation from unity and the creation of the human ego. Adam, symbolically the very first human on earth, is an embodiment of Aries energy. Adam and his partner Eve, the embodiment of the next sign Taurus, represent the time of transition from animal consciousness to human consciousness when, for the first time, the Divine entered material form and the essence we call God became our essence.

In the book, "The Great Love, We Came Here as Teachers of Love and Got Enrolled in the School of Fear", the Aries character is Bud. Bud learns to transform his energies through his encounter with Master Wiseheart (actually a higher frequency extension of his own consciousness.) Bud transitions from pure egotism, where everything has to go his way, to authenticity, where everything is already just as it ought to be. He turns his life over to the creative living process and trusts that his co-creative participation in life is telling him what will serve his evolutionary growth at all times. He goes beyond the influence of the earth that is trying to sell him a program other than his own and instead remains true to his experience and to what is in his heart. No other sign is as genuine as Aries-Aries people have great self love and make no apologies about the way they are.
Egotism is very powerful in this sign-it is as if there is only Aries and what Aries thinks and feels and believes and that must be the truth. There are, however, eleven signs that follow, each with lessons that open up the portals of human perception and make them increasingly panoramic. Aries is powerful in its truth; however, it is not an all inclusive truth. Of course in a chart, individuals who have the Sun in Aries may have other components that enable them to continually stretch their parameters. Still, they remain faithful to their own independent vision of the way things are because that is what they are here to experience.

How the astrological energies could unfold in April
Aries: If you teach, if you are a practitioner of the healing arts or if you call yourself a performer, this is a great month to travel and share your gifts with new audiences. You are especially receptive to extraterrestrial messages this month. Before you get too carried away at the prospect, check out your speculations carefully instead of rushing in and taking action without having sufficient information. Folks with the placement of the Sun in Aries often get the cosmic bulletins first. Make sure, however, that you are reading the signals correctly. A grand trine in fire this month could ease the way for you to accomplish what you have been asking for. Still nothing can materialize unless your preparation is in alignment with your request.
Taurus: Circumstances call for a great deal of your attention to be placed on the home front, or anything to do with real estate. There's opportunity in this area but first a lot of research and hard work is necessary. One person, or even several people, currently in your life have great ideas for you to upgrade your situation. They are unselfishly passing on information that could prove valuable and you may wonder why they seem so concerned about what you do. Suspend your cynicism and believe they are assisting you out of the goodness of their heart-or that you simply have good karma. Do not panic if they disappear when you most want them to be there for you. If the pieces do not quite fit yet, someone else will come along and help you complete the job. Always remember that once you start something, you manage to make it fully substantial, even when you have to work against the odds.
Gemini: If you do the groundwork, April is another month where the world gets the chance to witness how bright and clever you are. You are the person to call upon when someone quick-witted who deals well with time-sensitive situations is wanted. You offer an instant response and save the day while others stand around scratching their head in bewilderment. This gives you a sense of what a highly geared-up nervous system you have. You are so fast on the draw, is it any wonder that boredom is the bane of your existence? This month, you continue hearing things you have never heard before. If you take the time to check out the veracity of the information, you can tie together a plethora of exciting new concepts and create a brand new agenda that will open up doors you never even dreamed existed.
Cancer: Most of the transiting planets in the sky are elevated in your solar chart this month. If you have not put your shingle out there for the entire world to see, you are missing an opportunity. Your dance card can fill up quickly, as there are so many folks clamoring for what you have to offer. Another part of you would much prefer hanging out around the house but those days are over for the time being. As with all the water signs, you have antennae so sensitive that information from subconscious realms seeps into your conscious mind effortlessly. It would be to your advantage to let loose most of what you pick up on, as it really does not belong to you anyway. Leo: You may want to get away from it all and from one person in particular. Wait until the end of the third week when Saturn goes direct in your sign. By then, you probably will have figured out what will not work in your life and what you intend to do about it. It may be time to look elsewhere to meet your needs. A disheartened Leo is a heartbreaking reality. This is precisely how you feel when the universe fails to respond to your heart's dictates. Since you expect to win, you seldom factor the element of loss into the equation. The first step is to reorient your thinking so that your life reflects where you are rather than where you would like to be. It is the way for you to turn things around and this is the month to reinforce your efforts.
Virgo: It would be so much easier for you to operate as a solo; however, other people are frequently taking up your time and energy. You keep asking, "What do they want from me?" Instead of viewing the people in your life as idiosyncratic personalities, see them as messengers. Instead of taking what they say personally, interpret the more subtle reason that you are having that particular experience with them. No consciousness gives as much power to what appears on the surface of life as yours does. Has it not occurred to you that life is not about what seems apparent on the surface, but instead what lies beneath? The world appreciates your practical nature-you see what's real in a material sense; however, as scientists are increasingly discovering, most of reality is invisible. This truth may become your most important discovery. Those who seemed to block you, or at the very least aggravate you, are actually dropping hints that it is time for you to expand your vision of what is possible.
Libra: You have an excellent chance of picking up some valuable information from friends and associates, which might prove helpful to you in your work. While you are famous for easy going charm and the willingness to get along with people (no simple feat), your normally tactful manner and speech these days is punctuated with barbs that push buttons and rattle cages. That is the thing with Libra-you are politeness personified until you think that people are unjust in their dealings. Of course, you hired the people to do whatever they are doing because this is your movie, whether you acknowledge it or not. It is your showcase--you are the producer, the director, the writer and the star. Your lifelong mission is to keep your mind on a positive track and only put in your movie what is pleasing to you. Libra looks at life through rose-colored glasses and who says life can't be that way? If you do not like something, ignore it or win agreement in your community to change it. How else can you remain the charming and diplomatic person that is your claim to fame?
Scorpio: You could meet someone whose presence is titillating and you do not quite know what to do. Perhaps it is because you have faithfully pledged your heart to another, yet the fantasies continue and keep surfacing at the forefront of your consciousness. You might 1) tell your partner de jour you obviously need more from them,
2) practice self-discipline or 3) surrender to the thrill of it all. You may choose all three at different times. Something that has been buried in you is being unearthed and with it, the answers you are seeking will be brought to the light. It takes passion to evoke those answers and if passion were a commodity, you would be extremely wealthy. Come to think of it, passion is a commodity when it is managed with wisdom. With it, you can call in whatever you desire. Please do not waste your supply-controlled passion is at a premium.
Sagittarius: It is not so much that your life is quieting down (you know you really would not want it to). It is more a matter of getting a grip on matters that were previously unclear or incomplete. That does not mean you will be more organized, but that you can be more connected to a wise and ancient voice that emanates from your inner depths. This voice is loud and clear--it alternates between making you laugh and offering you serious and important instructions. It is informing you that you have been playing too small a game. You have a great understanding of life-use it or lose it. How do you use it, you ask? By telling the people who come into your world what you see on the road ahead. You may not bat a thousand, however, some of your premonitions are right on the mark. The only thing that can inhibit your gift for prophecy is if you come down with a case of doubtfulness.
Capricorn: Of all the signs, you are likely to be the first to scoff at anything that suggests a completely new paradigm is taking root in the earth. If we destroy our base, how can we survive? You are the responsible one who aims to honor the agreed upon collective foundation beneath everyone's feet and hold it as permanent. You want to live in an ordered universe that is in harmony with what we call natural law. Thus, you often adhere to the belief that what is true for some ought to be true for all. Well yes-- however, this is so only if that is your opinion. A greater truth is that the energy in a person's field determines what is going to enter their life. If there is discord, that is what we will attract. If there is inner peace, the world reflects back this sacred state. Other energies prevail, yet we personally experience on the outside what we are primarily on the inside. Even when violence erupts, one can choose to remain centered in a space of calm. So rather than attempting to be in harmony with the illusion we label natural law, make an effort instead to stay in harmony with your inmost self, no matter what. You will receive as much support for doing this, as you have ever had before.
Aquarius: A few months ago, you were functioning in a private space. Now, you are back in circulation with a brand new program. Aquarians always seek to update--you love to contemplate tomorrow while forgetting about yesterday. Do not toss the past aside completely though-there is some unfinished business that refuses to go away and you could profit from following through on it until it is complete. Perhaps this involves one of the people you have been avoiding-or someone who has been avoiding you. Interpersonal relations can become so messy and you are certainly not interested in replaying the same old scenario endlessly. Listening to a broken record is your idea of torture. Someone you know, however, needs completion with you. Why not hear them out and let them get their issues out of their system. There are times for all of us when it is best to yield to the needs of the other person if that need is so much greater than our own.
Pisces: The potential of your chart Pisces right now is awesome. You are so ready to open up and reveal what you have been keeping confidential. Pisces is the sign of ego transcendence and that is the path for all of us-sometime, someplace, somehow.
